The outages have affected many residents, with power companies reporting numerous customers without electricity. Specific numbers indicate the following outages: Duke Energy has 657 customers down in Pasco, 555 in Pinellas, 774 in Polk, and 637 in Highlands. Florida Power & Light (FPL) reported 305 outages in Manatee and 33 in Sarasota. Tampa Electric Company (TECO) has 6,499 customers without power, while Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative reported 1,321 affected customers across Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Polk, and Sumter counties.

In response to the hazardous weather, tornado warnings were previously issued specifically for Pasco and Hernando counties, underscoring the severity of the storm activity experienced in the region. Local emergency services are assessing the ongoing weather conditions and potential impacts.

Looking ahead, residents may expect more severe weather as forecasts indicate additional storms could roll through the area late Sunday into early Monday. Following these weather disturbances, temperatures are anticipated to stabilize around the 80 degrees mark for the upcoming week.
