Visitors can expect special promotions, giveaways, and opportunities to meet sports celebrities during this celebratory weekend.

The newly opened House of Sport store spans approximately 100,000 square feet and is designed to offer a unique shopping experience. It features various amenities such as rock climbing walls, golf bays equipped with TrackerMan simulators, and multi-sport cages for baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer. This allows athletes and sport enthusiasts to test products and monitor their performance in a hands-on environment.

This innovative multi-sport experiential store concept was first launched by Dick’s Sporting Goods in 2021. The company currently operates two such locations in Florida—one in Tampa’s International Plaza and another in Miami. Another House of Sport location is also slated to open at the Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota.

During the grand opening weekend, special guest appearances will include former Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski, who will meet fans on November 2, and current Buccaneer running back Bucky Irving, who is set to appear on November 1. Wristbands for limited meet-and-greet access with these athletes will be available each morning when the store opens, offering fans a chance to interact with their sports heroes.

Customers who are part of ScoreCard will receive exclusive benefits during the grand opening weekend, such as earning 3X points on purchases in-store and receiving 10% back in rewards on purchases made through January 10, 2026.
