Tampa Bay Welcomes New Community-Focused Brand Collective: Goldia Group

Tampa Bay has officially welcomed Goldia Group, a new hospitality and community-focused brand collective founded by local entrepreneur Allie Felix. The launch represents a significant enhancement in the community-driven business landscape of the region.

Goldia Group is set to establish its first venue, The Bunny Hive, a social studio designed specifically for young children and their caregivers. Planned locations for The Bunny Hive include Odessa by June 2025, South Tampa by early 2026, and a third Tampa Bay location that is currently in development. The facility will host various “grown-up and me” classes and events that will emphasize early childhood development and foster community connections.

In addition to The Bunny Hive, Goldia Group has acquired The Scout Guide Tampa and St. Petersburg, a well-known print and digital publication that features local businesses. This publication was previously owned by Allison Adams of Oxford Commons, indicating Goldia’s commitment to supporting local enterprises and showcasing regional talent.

Allie Felix’s Vision for Goldia Group

Allie Felix, a Tampa Bay native with a diverse professional background that includes roles at Embarc Collective, Draper University, and Work-Bench, has a clear vision for Goldia Group. The organization aims to introduce brands that align with the community’s needs and values. The focus is on creating relevant, elevated brands that address what the community wants and requires.

Expanding Business Development and Partnerships

Goldia Group is not the only recent development in Tampa Bay’s business scene. Stratum Security, which is a CREST-accredited information security consulting firm based in Tampa, has announced a strategic partnership with Cyber Advisors, a portfolio company of Goldner Hawn. This partnership aims to bolster cybersecurity resources in the region.

Additionally, Kevin Thibault has joined American Structurepoint as a principal in its Florida Transportation Group. In this role, he will collaborate with the Florida Department of Transportation as well as various local municipalities to improve transportation solutions within the state.

Seacoast Banking Corporation has opened a new full-service branch situated at 1150 Assembly Drive, Suite 200, in Tampa’s Midtown district, part of an ongoing strategy to expand its footprint in the region. Meanwhile, T&T Construction Management Group, a woman-owned specialty concrete contractor, has also expanded by establishing a new office and work yard in Tampa, marking its fourth operational location.

Community Engagement and Events

In addition to business expansions, community-oriented activities continue to thrive in Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay Business and Wealth held its April CEO Connect event featuring insights from prominent leaders such as Shirl Penney of Dynasty Financial Partners. Moreover, the Evara Health Foundation, along with other organizations, celebrated the finalists for the 2025 Women Who Win Award at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

New Innovations and Developments

A new luxury development is underway, poised to become Tampa’s tallest building, offering waterfront views and a 34,000-square-foot Mision Lago property that draws inspiration from local history. In addition, Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, a national engineering firm, has opened a new office in Tampa to enhance its presence in the Southeastern United States.

Amidst these developments, College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving has stepped up to assist with relief efforts in response to recent hurricanes, providing cleanup and debris removal services in partnership with the City of Tampa.

Lastly, Roemanu has appointed Charles “Mac” Macintosh as its new chief operating officer, overseeing operations from Tampa, while overseeing efforts that include Toorak Capital Partners and Merchants Mortgage & Trust Corp.

The launch of Goldia Group and the various expansions throughout Tampa Bay reflect a dynamic and growing business landscape, highlighting both community involvement and entrepreneurial spirit in the region.
