During the “State of the Hospital” event, TGH outlined its intentions to leverage its organizational culture by emphasizing AKTiVE leadership principles: authenticity, kindness, transparency, and vulnerability. A significant focus for TGH is building stronger relationships with physicians and developing a physician alignment model, which aims to streamline collaboration between healthcare professionals.

TGH is currently implementing a three-year strategic plan designed to aggressively invest in the communities it serves. Since December 2023, the organization has reported a net revenue increase of 45% and a 28% increase in patient discharges. TGH Spring Hill has reestablished Cath Lab Services, conducting 604 procedures since their launch in April 2024. Another goal includes improving the “digital front door” for a more seamless patient experience, making it easier for patients to access necessary services and navigate their care.

Among community initiatives, TGH has invested $300,000 to support healthcare education across five high schools in Hernando County, aiming to inspire local students to pursue careers in healthcare and encourage them to remain in the area to raise families. The Superintendent of Hernando County Schools, Ray Pinder, expressed appreciation for TGH’s commitment to educational initiatives that benefit local youth.

In addition to its strategic community involvement, TGH provides a comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Program aimed at improving cardiovascular fitness. This program includes phases for hospitalized patients and a structured 12-week outpatient training program. Safety measures are integrated into the program, including continuous heart rate and rhythm monitoring, with classes available three times weekly and staff support for patients.

As a notable highlight for TGH, Spring Hill celebrated the arrival of its first babies of 2025 with the birth of twins, Cameron and Parker. This event symbolizes the ongoing commitment TGH has to serving the families of the region.
